Our Story

In the spring of 1993, Beach Assembly gatherings began in local homes, then grew in number under the vision and sacrifice of founding pastors Frank & Sherry Holly. Securing the current location on Hwy 17 in Ocean Isle Beach in 2004 was a true miracle of circumstances, and early that next year, new Pastors John & Brenda Chase officiated the dedication of the new facility as a place where people from all walks of life can experience the transforming presence of Christ--the only true hope for our world.

Current Pastors John & Brenda Chase felt inspired to give our community the gift of the TRUE meaning of Christmas. So in 2008, they launched Bethlehem Live, an interactive live nativity experience. An entire city was built on adjoining property--half Jerusalem, the other half Bethlehem--attracting as many as 6,000 visitors each season to encounter the Gospel story from Christ's birth to his resurrection.

Beach Assembly is committed to reaching  our community through compassionate service and faith-and-family-building opportunities.  We organize  family events, feed disaster-relief volunteers, support our local law enforcement and first responders, and offer a shoulder to lean on. All are welcome.
