After a successful basketball career with Wake Forest University, David turned down professional sports offers to minister as a worship pastor at his father's church. Having traveled extensively to minister alongside Christian artists such as Jason Crabb, Alvin Slaughter, and Larnelle Harris, he also had the honor of ministering with notable preachers & evangelists, including Perry Stone, John Bevere, and Reinhard Bonnke. David currently pastors The Ark Church in Nags Head, NC with his wife, Monica, and two children, Arden & Judah.
