The Great Cheesecake Contest

Read these RULES & NOTES carefully so that you have the BEST CHANCE to win 1st place at our Friendsgiving on Sunday, November 17th!

Cakes will be judged on the following criteria:

1. Appearance
2. Taste (of crust/toppings/fillings/etc.)
3. Texture (of crust/toppings/fillings/etc.)
4. Creativity

RULES

  •  Only one entry per person.
  •  Online pre-registration is mandatory (link below).
  •  Entries must be completely baked from scratch.
  •  Submit a full typed recipe with ingredients and instructions, preferably on a single sheet.
  •  Cheesecakes cannot be refrigerated or heated after drop-off.
  •  No raw or uncooked eggs allowed in the final product.

PHOTO OF FINISHED ENTRY

  • HIGHLY ADVISED: take a photo of your entry BEFORE you leave your home. 
  • Make sure there is plenty of natural light so the details of your hard work are easily seen!
  • You will be invited to TEXT your photo to a phone number when you arrive.
  • This photo will serve as PROOF of the APPEARANCE of your entry in the unlikely event that it is compromised in transit or at any time prior to judging.


NOTES

  • Deadline to Register: November 13th
  • Please bring your cheesecake to Beach Assembly's Fellowship Hall by 4:00 pm on the day of the event
  • Judging will be 4:15 pm to 4:45 pm
  • Winner announcement will be during our Friendsgiving Dinner.
  • Winners will be asked to have their photograph taken
  • Copies of winning recipes may be used in publications and/or otherwise shared publicly
